Yes, HuddleChat is definitely very similar to Campfire, but Campfire -- which nterface uses and pays for -- is simply a standard chat app. It's similar to many IRC clients that pre-date it and I really don't think that 37Signals can be that upset over this. I think they should be flattered that Google was inspired by Campfire, but they should leave it at that. However, I'm sure if I was in Jason Fried's shoes, I'd be a bit ticked off as well.
