Followed your personal site link from Carbonmade. It seems that GaryV is taking over the world, but I agree with you in that he is a great inspiration to other entrepreneurs.

i have this same problem. i am allowed my "free downgrade" but PayPal is having trouble doing it. i called their 402 area code support phone number, which promptly transferred me to India and they were of no help. they said that their IT people were working on it. seriously, how long does it take to get this problem fixed. it's been over a month for me!!!

Go for it Spencer! If you write with attitude, it will always come out more authentic and convincing. =) And yes, it will keep things interesting.

At least you have one reader who is hooked. Heh.

I'm not sure what side of the fence I'm on in the HuddleChat / Campfire debate. Yes, HuddleChat is definitely very similar to Campfire, but Campfire -- which nterface uses and pays for -- is simply a standard chat app. It's similar to many IRC clients that pre-date it and I really don't think that 37Signals can be that upset over this. I think they should be flattered that Google was inspired by Campfire, but they should leave it at that. However, I'm sure if I was in Jason Fried's shoes, I'd be a bit ticked off as well.
